Day Programme for Residents at Woodwell House: Services users taking up a residential placement at Woodwell House are offered a wide variety of day time activities. The Avon Autistic Foundation provides some twenty courses at a purpose built day facility close to Woodwell House where residents can choose from a variety of activities including art/ cooking/ computer studies/ craft subjects/further education and a wide choice of sporting activities, swimming/ badminton/ tennis/ cycling/ horse-riding/ walking/ ten-pin bowling. A Care Plan is drawn up for all residents at Woodwell House in order to meet their needs. Care Plans are updated regularly and service users are helped to achieve their full potential. |
